Forest Event
自然アスロン2007‐森に集合-
2007年7月22日。
32人の参加者はドイツの黒い森からベルリンに向けて
1800kmの道のりを自転車でスタートしました。
この「自然アスロン－森に集合－」というイベントは、
2008年にドイツで開催される生物多様性条約締約国会議に
向けての意識向上キャンペーンの１つ。
参加者は８つのグループに分かれ、
日ごとに決められたスポーツや各ポイントでの
森林や自然保護に関連した課題に挑戦してゴールを目指します。
マラソン、木登り、マウンテンバイク、クライミング...
生物多様性とは、自然公園について、木を使っての工作...
これ、絶対に楽しいと思うのですが。
2010年の生物多様性会議は恐らく日本で開催されるので、
例えば富士山とか白神山地とか、
実現できたら楽しいですね。

Nature Athlon 2007 -Meeting in forest-
July 22, 32 participants got on their bikes and rode 1800km from Black
Forest to Berlin,.
This event is called "Nature Athlon 2007 -Meeting in forest-".
There is a “Parties of Biodiversity Convention” conference next year in Germany.
The organizers consists member from ministry, timber association and NGO, anticipate this event to be a awareness-rising opportunity about biodiversity.
Participants are grouped into 8, competing over accumulative points form daily activity they participants are assigned to.
Activities are:
Marathon, climbing rock, climbing tree, MTB
...
What's biodiversity about the event is that in nature park is that uses wood as material source for workshop...
The next COP in 2010 will be held in Japan.
There are many great location in Japan to hold an event like Mt.Fuji or
Shirakami mountain.
I would be really interesting to see this in 2010 in Japan!
