新しいバッグがほしい。。。
多くの海外、国内アウトドアブランドが出てきていますねー、どれを買っていいのか分からない。もしくは、高すぎて買うのが「もったいない」と思う人が多いと思います。 最終的には過去に買ったクオリティの低いリュックブランドを選び、あまり新鮮感を味わうことができないく、つまらない。。。。
バッグを買うとき、皆様はなにを重視して購入しますか？
私は：
1．心地よさ、機能（ポケット、空間など）
2．ルックス
3．耐久力
4．値段
私はこの4つのポイントを重視にバッグを購入しています。他の人はこのポイントの中に「流行」も重く重視されると思います。しかし私は「流行物や流行ブランド」にはあまり興味がありませんので。。。「俺流」なんでしょう。。。子供ですみません。
今後、バッグを買うとき、この４つの中に「サステナブル」という新しいジャンルを入れてみるのはどうでしょう？「え？どうやって？」、
それは「元」という言葉を頭にいれとけばオッケーです。
まず、二つのブランドを紹介いたします。 スイスブランドのバッグ、そしてカリフォルニア州サンタ・クルーズ市を拠点としたバッグ・メーカー。

Sometimes it is really hard to determine, which outdoor brand has the right technology for you.
There are so many brand out there in outdoor retail store,, and you just do not have choice but buy the same old brand that you bought in the past.
When it becomes to buying backpacks, messenger bags, waistbag, hiking bag, and many other bag you can think of, I look for:
1. Comfort,Technology: pockets, space, etc.
2. Appearance
3. Toughness: waterproof, durability
4. Price
These 4 performances are the “prime necessity” today. And I think we are missing the fifth performance. How about putting “sustainable” in fifth spot?
How can bag be sustainable??
I would imagine bag has to be made from natural resources or recycled products. To make sure they are free carbon products. Many of you may think, “if bag is recycled, it lacks performance and if if bag is made from organic resources, price is outrageous”.
Let me introduce you to two pioneer bag manufacturers that have right tools to change the industry. One from Swiss and one from Santa Cruz California!
1.Freitag ~Freeway bag full of recycled materials

I saw Freitag bag about 3 years ago, when my friend was carrying them in University of Colorado campus. I asked him “why is your messenger bag so shiny?”, replied that his bag is made out from truck cover. And I said “whaaaaat?”
And I discovered Freitag consisted full of recycled parts.
・ base layer are recycled from truck covers (tarps)
・bike tubes for pinning
・seatbelts from car
It’s been three years since I have discovered Freitag. I have purchased their monotone messenger bag and colorful wallet about two years ago, and I use them everyday without any defects and plus they are waterproof. In Japan, Freitag became so popular to young kids. Freitag is on every fashion magazine and attracted young fashionable consumers. What so great about Freitag. For me :
1. sustainable
2. you can create your own bag! (F-cut)
But, I always wonder if half of Freitag Purchaser know about recycled technology? I wonder if consumers are purchasing Freitag in sustainable manner or fashionable trend? If one has no knowledge about it and value recycled bag equitable to brand new ones, its not a bad thing!
１．フレイタグ～フリー・ウェイバッグ
フレイタグとであったのは3年前、大学の友達がキャンパスで愛用していたバッグ。私は最初みたとき、「なんで、そのメッセンジャー・バッグ光っているの？」友達がクスクスと笑いながら、「これはトラックのカバーの生地だからだよ」。「えー！」と叫びました。
その後友達は、そのバッグのパーツを説明し始めました。
・ベースの生地は必要なくなったトラックカバー
・周りをピン止めしているのが、必要なくなったバイク・チューブ
・バッグ・ストラップはリサイクルされた車のシートベルトを使用している
「これはおもしろいし！かなりサステナブル！」ただ、値段は少し高い。貧乏大学生活をしていた私、色々な節約方法に工夫を重ね、フレイタッグのメッセンジャーバッグと財布を購入しました（もちろん値切りました（笑））。 フレイタグを使用し、2年以上経ちますが何も故障なく愛用させていただいています。
実際、フレイタッグ・ユーザーの中、フレイタッグのリサイクル技術の事を理解している人は多いのでしょうか？もし、消費者達がその技術、商品自体リサイクルプロダクト製品を新品製品の区別出来ない事はいい事なのかもしれませんね。

2.Osprey ~using recycled material

Osprey is one of my favorite Outdoor backpack. I have purchased/used Osprey bag about three times, and I am currently using Osprey talon 22 for daily hikes and urban travel usage. Osprey is founded in 1974 in Santa Cruz, California. Osprey is not really common in Japan, but in US, Osprey has young fans due to its great design, low cost, and high quality performance. *Only that are not recycled and used in the bag is zipper.
