BBB’s livestock excreta composing technology was developed and derived from space technology that enables production of fertilizer and forage from livestock excreta by utilizing insects (flies) to dispose. This technology not only minimizes such environmental problems as odor pollution and water contamination but also reduces greenhouse gas emission. BBB’s mission is to contribute to realization of a sustainable society by “ensuring food safety and security,” “practicing recycling-oriented agriculture,” and “efficient utilization of biomass.”
